JO-Traveling Volleyball
The Eastview Volleyball Club, otherwise known as EVAA JO/Traveling Volleyball, was created in late 1997 soon after the Eastview High School was opened. The club provides Eastview-bound athletes the opportunity to compete in the Junior Olympic program offered by United States of America Volleyball (USAV). Team placement is based on volleyball skills, athleticism, attitude, commitment to the sport, and preference is given to those in the Eastview attendance area.
The upper Midwest is a "hotbed" for quality junior volleyball. This area produces a significant number of collegiate athletes every year. In particular, the Lake Conference is one of the strongest in the nation. It is our goal as a club to help prepare Eastview girls to successfully compete in this conference.
Girls in grades 4-11 are eligible to play JO/Traveling Volleyball. Teams are formed on a tryout basis, those not selected for a team will be refunded their $125 deposit. Season fees range from $500-$700 based on age group and tournaments selected. Payments are made periodically throughout the season. The JO seasons runs December through April.
